Mission of the Faculty of Law, University of Travnik

The mission of the Faculty of Law of the University of Travnik is to achieve excellence and recognition in research, teaching and educational activities, with the aim of improving the education of future legal professionals, to develop legal science and practice, and to build a society of well being, based on the principles of the rule of law and of democratic freedoms.

Our location

Our Faculty is situated near Kiseljak and 20 kilometers from the center of the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo.

Technical conditions

The Faculty of Law has large amphitheaters, large and small study and lecture halls for classes, exercises, seminars, it has luxuriously and other various accommodations.

Modern studies

In its efforts to provide even better conditions for its students, the whole of the Faculty is covered with a wireless internet connection.

Library

Our Faculty offers to students a modern, well equipped library with about 7,000 bibliographic reference units.

Informatics Center

Students have access to the highest quality electronic services, as well as two databases with over 100,000 individual sources.

Cooperation with other institutions

University of Travnik has signed a series of agreements on a bilateral and multilateral basis establishing cooperation with universities in the region, the European Union and the United States.

Research

During each academic year we holds several scientific conferences and research seminars on a variety of topics.

Students Parliament

Students Parliament closely and successfully cooperates with educational and other staff of the Faculty of Law, thus becoming an equally important factor greatly

I Cycle of Studies

I cycle of studies are organized within courses: General Law (4+1) and Business Law (3+2).

II Cycle of Studies

II cycle of studies are organized within courses: Public Law (4+1), Criminal Law (4+1), International Law (4+1), History of Law (4+1), Civil Law (4+1), Law of European Union (4+1), Economic Law (4+1), Public Administration (3+2).

III Cycle of Studies

III cycle of studies are organized within courses: Public Law, Civil Law, International Law. Duration of III cycle of studies is three years.

Teachers

Professors and associates who are engaged in the learning process are distinguished individuals in their field. 25 professors, 15 associates and 10 person in other services are at students disposal. English CV's are available by clicking on the title.
